A professional learning network, or PLN, is a support system of colleagues, mentors, and related professionals that provides ideas, collaboration, and guidance for all of your classroom needs. Looking for lesson ideas to teach your students how to measure the area of a polygon? Need help shaping your classroom management system? Want to know about emerging technology to enhance your reading group instruction? Looking for a fun bulletin board for Back to School Night? Ask members of your PLN! Do you have create an awesome lesson plan that covers that tricky math standard? Share it with your PLN! PLNs can be very general, or specific to a content area or need.

You have essentially participated in a PLN! PLNs can be made up of people within your school, with like-minded teachers from around the world, or both!
